What We Do

New Leaf Peer Support LLC provides structured, non-clinical, peer-led support and housing stabilization services for youth aging out of foster care and young adults navigating housing instability, reentry, and major life transitions.

Our programs combine supportive housing, peer mentorship, and practical life-skills guidance to help young adults build stability, independence, and long-term success. We focus on providing consistent support during critical transition periods when stable housing, mentorship, and reliable guidance are often limited.

Through housing placements, stabilization support, and community resource connections, we work alongside participants to help them develop the tools and confidence needed to transition into independent living.

Peer Support Coaching

We offer one-on-one peer support provided by trained Peer Support Coaches with lived experience. Peer support focuses on relationship-building, accountability, and practical guidance — not therapy or treatment.

Peer Support Coaching may include:

Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins

Goal setting and progress tracking

Support navigating daily challenges

Encouragement, motivation, and accountability

Building healthy routines and structure

Peer support is voluntary, collaborative, and centered on the individual’s goals.

Life Skills & Independent Living Support

Many young adults aging out of foster care have not had consistent opportunities to develop independent living skills. We provide hands-on, real-world support to help young people build confidence and self-sufficiency.

Life skills support may include:

Budgeting and financial basics

Time management and routines

Employment and education readiness

Appointment scheduling and follow-through

Household and daily living skills

Our approach is practical, respectful, and focused on long-term independence.

Resource & System Navigation

Navigating systems can be overwhelming — especially without guidance. We help young adults identify, access, and follow through with community resources that support stability.

Support may include help connecting to:

Housing and shelter resources

Identification and documentation

Benefits and community services

Education, employment, and training programs

Recovery and wellness supports

We walk alongside participants while they learn to navigate systems independently.

Supportive & Independent Living Pathway

New Leaf Peer Support LLC is developing a supportive independent living pathway for youth aging out of foster care. This pathway is designed for young adults who benefit from structure, accountability, and peer mentorship while building independence.

Our living model emphasizes:

Peer support as the foundation

Personal responsibility and goal progression

Life skills development

Preparation for fully independent living

Housing options will be offered through licensed facilities and partnerships as development milestones are completed.
